Eligibility:

Educational qualification: The candidate must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Exam Pattern:
The SSC Stenographer exam consists of two stages - Computer Based Test (CBT) and Skill Test.
The CBT consists of 200 multiple choice questions from General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language & Comprehension. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
The Skill Test is a typing and transcription test in which candidates are required to type a given text on a computer at a speed of 100 words per minute for Grade C and 80 words per minute for Grade D. The transcription time for Grade C is 50 minutes in English and 65 minutes in Hindi. For Grade D, the transcription time is 40 minutes in English and 55 minutes in Hindi.
